When days are sunny and bright, we are out hiking and biking the trails. When it begins to snow, we relish in taking our first tracks on the mountain.

Tahoe Chocolate and Wine Festival: November 7th, 6-10 pm, The Hyatt in Incline Village
“Life is a Caber(n)et,” the theme for this year’s 27th annual Chocolate and Wine Festival, aptly evokes the elegance and exuberance this event commands. It features sultry chocolate creations and sumptuous appetizers paired with beautiful boutique wines from California’s most acclaimed regions. Our very own chefs Ana and David of The Rustic Lounge took home two awards at their 2013 event for their chocolate creations, receiving “People’s Choice Favorite Chocolate” and “Original Taste.” The coinciding auction and raffle will surely be loaded with amazing trips and items, all benefiting Tahoe SAFE Alliance.
Passport to Dining: November 12th, 6-9 pm, North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach
This North Shore favorite highlights some of the best food and wine in the area. Gaining in momentum every year, this event has become a favorite amongst locals and visitors alike. Where else can you sample from over 35 of some of the best restaurants and wineries in one night!? Our chefs Ana and Dave of The Rustic Lounge were honored with the peoples choice award in 2013. Not only is this an exceptional culinary event, but it also features an amazing auction with Northern California getaway packages and valuable items including a gift certificate for Cedar Glen Lodge! All proceeds to benefit Tahoe Public Art.
An Elegant Affair: November 20th, 6:30-9 pm, Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City
Now in it’s 39th year, this extravagant Tahoe City night out features culinary creations from local restaurants and some of the best beer and wine pairings that Northern California has to offer. Set in the lakefront Boatworks Mall, this event is beautifully decorated to get you into the holiday spirit. All proceeds benefit the North Tahoe Boosters who provide funding for the North Tahoe High School and Middle School sports teams. This sophisticated fundraiser will also feature a gift certificate from Cedar Glen Lodge!
